All children in Wrexham are entitled to 10 hours of Funded Early Education a week starting in the term following their third birthday. Funded Early Education is only available in the spring and summer term.
In our Early Education department, we encourage the children to become independent learners. This is supported by building on children’s interests to allow them to have lots of fun, gain new experiences and skills, all whilst gaining confidence each day.
The children learn both inside and outside the classroom and our curriculum is enriched through the use of our Forest School area.
Our outdoor areas are incredibly well equipped and spacious. The children love to play and learn in our outdoor spaces and they are an integral part of our daily teaching here at St Giles.
We have close links with our Early Years Department and join them in the summer term to prepare your child for their transition to nursery the following September. We find this really benefits our children and helps to eliminate any worries they may have about joining our Nursery class.
If you would like to receive further information about our Early Education setting and what we can offer your child, please get in touch with us.
